As Chair of the ABP, I am passionate about finding practical and insightful ways to help those practising in our field. My ABP volunteering includes building partnerships with related professional bodies; introducing the practical people assessment webinar series; giving talks at the ABP conference and local events for the past four years and initiating the ABP newsletter. Please vote for me so I can help further enhance the service that we offer you, our members.

Since 2016 I have led on the continuing professional development of our members by the development of standards for Business Psychologist Certification. The new process has proved transformational for ABP’s members. My plans are to continue developing this impactful work, and to improve ABP standards for university accreditation.
As an occupational psychologist in academia, external examiner and National Teaching Fellow, I bring added value to the ABP providing insight and expertise in quality and standards for education.
I would like to join the ABP Management Board to provide an industry view of how we can use psychology to create more positive employee experiences at work and have a specific interest in how employers can be kinder, fairer and more inclusive. I would also contribute by helping to create interesting events and activities and develop ways in which we can increase membership and participation across the UK.
My goal is to develop, grow, and market a refreshed and valued corporate membership model – which is attractive to companies but also of value to working professionals. As ABP board member over the last year, I've developed a new corporate membership set of offerings tailored to all sizes of organisations while being equally beneficial, affordable, and improving the visibility and goals of the ABP in the market. I aim to further improve and develop this in future.
I have been involved in the ABP for the past four years, and in the organisation of two conferences. I whole-heartedly believe in all the ABP stands for, setting up my organisation's methodology to be in line with an evidence-based approach. I constantly fly the flag for the ABP believing it to be an important force for good within our sector. Additionally, the type of organisations I primarily work with are outside of the normal remit for business psychologists.
I am a Chartered Psychologist and after a escaping my corporate career I started my own consultancy business (Insights Business Psychology) and co-founded Inspiration North, a podcasting and events company. I wish to continue to volunteer for the ABP as the Regional Events Lead to ensure good quality events are organised for members outside London. My focus is on increasing membership and engagement in the regions.
